What are the projects for Rural Development ?Rural development usually refers to the method of enhancing the quality of life and financial well-being of individuals, specifically living in populated and remote areas. Traditionally, rural development was centered on the misuse of land-intensive natural resources such as forestry and agriculture. Textile Industry: Spinning, Weaving, Coloring and Bleaching. Engineering and Services: Tractors and Pump set repairs etc. Small and medium sized industries to produce agricultural machinery, equipment for usage in rural areas etc & Improving the quality of life of the rural population. To improve the infrastructure of the rural areas. To reduce unemployment by providing opportunities for employment and to provide clean water, education facilities, electricity and proper communication.The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), the Rastriya Sama, Vikas Yojana (RSVY), the Indira Awas Yojana (IAY), the Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana (SGRY), the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana were all launched by the Government of India.In 2023-24, MGNREGS (38%) and PMAY-G (35%) together account for almost 75% of the budgetary allocation. This is followed by PMGSY (12%), National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM, 9%), and the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP, 6%)
