Impact Over The Society

E S C O R D Impact Over The Society

Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) refers to a non-profit organization that serves the people and society to safeguard their rights and interests. The NGO is driven by a group of volunteers, individuals, activists, and social persons willing to aid the needy ones.

Financial Aid

NGOs offer financial perks under challenging times to various sections of societies that are craving for help. Apart from advocating human rights, NGOs can arrange substantial funds for the local government to push social-oriented programs forward. Overall, an NGO is more than just a social relief firm that exercises different strategies for charitable causes.

Education

Some of the prominent Non-Governmental Organization has taken proactive measures in the direction of child education & women empowerment. To serve such a purpose, they have built many educational institutions globally, particularly in backward areas.

Health

This is the region where NGOs are quite impact full. Some reputable NGOs source the expensive and essential medication at a nominal cost to those in need. Some NGOs even set up camps for the seamless distribution of the medication and free checkups.

Environment

The major Environmental Movements in India are Chipko Movement, Silent Valley Movement, Narmada Bachao Andolan, Jungle Bachao Andolan, Save the Western Ghats Movement, Save the Tiger Movement, Anti-Poaching Movement etc.The environmental movement has sought to protect the natural world through a number of initiatives, including reducing pollution, conserving natural resources, preventing endangered species from becoming extinct, and shielding natural areas from destruction or over development. Environmental History deals with the history of human impacts on nature and the interactions between humans and nature. It asks how nature influences humans, how humans intervene in nature and how nature and humans interact.

Positive social impact examples include:Providing job training to unemployed people. Planting trees in a community to improve air quality and reduce pollution. Supporting local businesses and farmers by purchasing their goods and services. Providing access to education for underprivileged children.Climate change affects human health and well-being through more extreme weather events and wildfires, decreased air quality, and diseases transmitted by insects, food, and water. Climate disruptions to agriculture have been increasing and are projected to become more severe over this century, a trend that would diminish the security of America’s food supply. Surface and groundwater supplies in some regions are already stressed, and water quality is diminishing in many areas, in part due to increasing sediment and contaminant concentrations after heavy downpours. The Social Development Goals are set as a way for individuals, businesses, and organizations to work together towards making a significant impact in the society. They are as fallows our organization is committed to work for the social evils to eradicate.
